	WELCOME - "Punchline" from Brisbane, Australia, provide electrifying entertainment for all audiences and are one of the most versatile and exciting Cover Bands in Queensland. For Punchline, professionalism is paramount. They are a great choice for a range of occasions. Whether you are in the market for a rock / pop band to pump up your party or venue, or want to create the right atmosphere for a wedding or corporate function, Punchline will keep you entertained both on and off the dance floor. If something more relaxed is your style, that is also right up their alley. Punchline have performed in Singapore twice and toured extensively up the coast of Queensland as far as Port Douglas & also Gove in the Northern Territory.. The band's song-list consists of Top 40, Pop, Rock, Classics, Funk and the occasional hint of Jazz and Blues. Punchline are able to adapt to almost any event, function or venue & pride themselves on paying attention to the finer details. The band dress to suit individual performances and can also perform within almost any case of noise restrictions. Punchline's original lead singer "Jeunesse Douglas" moved back to Brisbane August 2012 & is singing at almost all Punchline gigs now which is fantastic! * Jeunesse has been singing live since age nine & has a very versatile and exceptional voice. Ness has the ability to sing so sweetly you’ll feel shivers down your spine but also rock out with the best of them! There's always lots of excellent feedback about Ness's amazing voice! Other options for lead vocals - * Andrea Dozzi is the party girl with a funky stage presence & sweet voice with also the ability to blow people away with her high range. * Katherine Fathers has such a warm voice & able to sing almost any range with an extensive repertoire. Kat has a jazz background but versatile in many genres * Row Morrissey is an experienced performer with a jazz background but versatile in all styles of music & radiates energy as a top performer. All the girls have a great vibe & always work well with the crowd. Matty Bateson provides vocal support both lead & backing and is exhilarating on lead & rhythm guitar. Ross Duckworth on bass along with Marty Smith on the drums, accomplish a deep groove and provide the band with a very strong rhythm section. Together Punchline are an impressive Cover Band and always have the crowd begging for more! Punchline are available as a 4 piece Band or Acoustic Trio (Vocals, Acoustic Guitar & Drums/Percussion) Or as a Duo with the option of using a drum machine on backing tracks. Matty is also available for solo gigs on vocals & acoustic guitar.

2012 was a new chapter for Punchline; most gigs were acoustic DUO, sometimes with a drum machine. This will continue in 2013 along with many solo gigs by Matty. Punchline are still available as a band for weddings, parties & functions & the occasional rock / pop gig.
