>>April 30 2007 Aaron has been locking in very well with the band and together with Mick on the drums, Punchline's rhythm section is becoming better than ever! Aaron & Mick performed in a band together years ago in Darwin and it certainly shows.
Last weekend was a big one with 4 gigs in 3 days including Eagle Farm Races which was a 6 hour gig! To top it off we finished the weekend with a bang at Fisherman's Wharf Tavern on the Gold Coast. Fisho's is still pumping, the crowd were going crazy! We certainly look forward to our next gig there in June.
>> February 2007 >> January 2007 It's mainly Gold Coast this month and if you can get down there check out our gig guide for when we're playin Surfers Beergarden, Surfers Rowers or Jupiters Casino. The big one for January though is Australia Day. We are at the Story Bridge Hotel Cockroach races again this year & it's set to be bigger than ever!

>> 7 October Well we finally have played the Prince Albert Bar at Jupiters Casino Gold Coast (Sep 19) & they obviously liked us, we are booked heaps in the 1st half of 2007. Great gig, lookin forward to it. There are a couple of proposals for New Years Eve and hopefully one will be confirmed soon. Mick & I have just edited the audio recordings, we are doin some final touches, won't be long.
>> 13 September 06 Last month we played at the Iron Bar in Port Douglas again for the 5th time. We had a great time as usual but it was only 3 nights this time. There were good crowds on the Fri & Sat as usual and we already look forward to the next time.
We have been getting a few gigs at the Surfers Beergarden on Thur, Fri & Sat nights, and it rocks! Always a line up on Fri & Sat's. Irish Murphys Brisbane CBD seems to be quite a regular gig for us at the moment which is always a busy night. (Refer to gig guide to catch us)
Last month we performed at the Sirromet Wine and Food Festival on the Saturday. Christine Anu was also performing, as well as some Sheldon College bands. This was our 4th year involvement with Sirromet and our 5th Performance. (2 years ago we played before John Farnham at Sirromet, and there were about 9500 people!) This year we played the Saturday only coz Mark Seymour performed on the Sunday instead. It was actually nice to have a day off for once and I spent it there with a bunch of friends, it was a great day! Mark Seymour was good from what I remember!? It's amazing how quick drinking in the Sun can take effect.
This week we are off to Port Douglas again for the 5th time! It's our first time with Jaymie and we are all looking forward to the getaway!
